Day one in Tokyo 1-9-10 Morning

We started this morning in the Tsujiki (sp?) Fish Market. These crab were humongous, two to three feet across! Alive in a tank.
A selection of fresh veggies from one of the stalls leading up to the market.
Dried fish and sea life of all kinds.
Cutting a hunk of tuna for the customer on this side of the counter. That was one sharp knife.
Fishcicles, anyone?
No, well how about some fish heads, then?
Noelle's favorite fisherman!
Sword fish?
Very fresh, swimming still...
There was row upon row of stalls, maybe thirty rows each as long as three city blocks. All within a warehouse type structure. It's indescribable, the size and sounds and smell!Families worked together cutting, sorting and selling.
After the fish market, we did a little window shopping in Ginza, which is the Rodeo Drive of Tokyo. We saw beautiful shops and elegant women. Hey, isn't that the Tartan Plaid purse Tayler wanted for Christmas, which wasn't available online or in American stores???
On weekends, they close the street to car traffic and people take over. I believe the signs are stacked like they are to tell what store is on the different floors of buildings.
We saw many women in Kimonos. Beautiful.
